No accounts, no sign-up, and your stats stay on your device. The ads are the one exception, so they get the longest section.

What's kept on your device

The game uses your browser's local storage to remember:

• your stats: puzzles played, streaks, and how many tiles you left over each day;
• today's board, so a refresh doesn't lose your progress;
• that you've already seen the instructions.

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage, the game still works; it just forgets when you close the tab.

Advertising

This site shows adverts served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub handles your IP address and basic request details to deliver the pages and to keep out abuse.
